A Box Divided Against itself Can Stand

Boxes are very versatile things to play with. More so, a box divided against itself! Found this little box and Michael said, 'Will you leave it alone?' No siree!  That's why the business to go into these days is selling embellishments and I'll be a loyal customer.

A perfect display box for four varieties of tea. Tea certainly tastes better when it comes in a pretty box.

With my head still boxed in by boxes, I found these two box-frames. Gave them a good coat of paint and filled them with potpourri.  Colour coded even. Talk about an extreme case of OCD.

Graduation Fun

My son Samuel graduated recently and I decided to make this fun layout for him. I think he must have been inspired by Patch Adams to do something hilarious on this occasion. Well, kudos to his creative spirit. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I just adore framing memories and there's nothing like remembering grown up children in their childhood days.

Money Jar

There's always loose change about the house so I created this money jar out of an empty peanut butter jar. I like to experiment with colours and decided to put blue and brown together and love the effect! The money that builds up will go towards more crafting stash. 

Framed Memories

I have been so busy entertaining guests on their first visit to Ireland.. Now that they have crossed over the Irish sea to visit London, I have some time on my hands again for crafts again!

I put together some old photos and then dug out both new and old embellishments from my stash to give it a vintage look. Memories are arrested in time..so I thought that the wooden clock would be most apt. In the 70s - 90s, letters were handwritten or typed and the wooden typewriter came in handy. We also had scrabble tiles and board games were simply so engaging...

Gave this chipboard frame a makeover. Decoupaged and embellished it with things from my kitchen (chillies, star anise...) from the garden (leaf, fern) and from the beach (sea shells)

The best memories are those created when you are with the ones that you love. This was taken in 1995 when Sonya was 8, Samuel was 5 and Audrey was 1.
