Vintage bucket workshop at Killaloe
A group of ladies from the International Women's Organisation, Limerick, invited me to conduct a craft workshop. We decided to do decoupage vintage buckets. During the warming up session, we had a lovely time choosing the designs and the paints and getting our fingers dirty.

Iris folding
Iris paper piecing is intricate and time consuming, but very rewarding. You need to cut out 1/2 - 3/4 inch strips and plan out the design that you want to use. This is a clear video on Iris paper piecing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCeE8fUj_fM

Going to the seaside
Taking a bath is like going to the seaside with water and suds all over...so this is a little bathroom door tag for extra privacy...

First Aid Box
Found this old and rusty first aid box in the shed. Decided to transform it into something that sits proudly on my shelf. First I gave it a coat of acrylics then embellished it with paper cut-outs. Then add on a coat of varnish.

Origami Boxes
I'm always very fascinated by origami. So I decided to make some boxes and the best part was there was no icky glue on my fingers.
Box 1: Flat box with belly band
This nifty box is great for small trinkets like bracelets. It can be flat packed and slotted into a belly band. You can learn how to make it by following the instructions here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDpEu4GKkDc
Now, look what's in the box?
Box 2: Puffy box with Mortar board lid
Top view with embellies and pull-out tag
You can learn to make these boxes via these links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkYqDiACEXg and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQNABRvb_c0

Decorate the wall
This is my son Samuel. He loves and composes music on the keyboard. So I thought I would put everything that he loves on layout for a memory box.
Spring is here...so seed sowing begins. A quilted wall hanging. My daughter Sonya did the cross stitch and I did the rest.

A little bit Scottish
Simply adore these lovely Gorjuss characters....
Making use of doilies, lace and Gorjuss toppers I decided to make a batch of Gorjuss-themed cards.
